Basketball in Bendigo is really big we have 3 teams a Bendigo men's team, a Bendigo women's team and another womens team.We even have junior braves under 12's to under 23's. Basketball is played at the Schweppes Centre.The Schweppes Centre has a sky lounge where people go after the game, it has 7 basketball courts, canteen and a restaurant. Bendigo has a regional women's team called the Bendigo Sprit and the men's team is called the Telstra Men Braves and the other ladies team is called the IGA Lady Braves. For anybody that likes basketball playing for one of these teams would be their dream.

Football
Football is one of the biggest sports in Bendigo, we have football for boys and girls. We also have the seniors and the reserve football teams. Bendigo's main oval is the QEO (Queen Elizabeth Oval). We have all the other ovals like Canbury Park oval in Eaglehawk, Quarry Hill oval in Quarry Hill.
